Thornton is the Regional Vice President for the Southeast region and has been with Securities America since 2004. Prior to that he has over a decade of experience as an agent and representative with New York Life (NY Life Securities).
Thornton brings a consultative approach to every advisor’s situation. He is able to see the entire playing field from the perspective of both a representative and business owner. Thornton believes that Securities America provides a high touch/high feel experience, like working with a small entrepreneurial enterprise, partnered with the features and benefits of a large company.
Thornton holds the Series 7 & 24 industry licenses. Married with three children, Thornton spends what little free time he has playing golf – lots of golf – and resides in Greenville, SC.

Jessica has been with Securities America since 2004, and works with Thornton to provide prospective representatives an in-depth and thorough look at the benefits that Securities America offers.
Jessica worked in Securities America’s Compensation department as a processor and research specialist prior to her role with the Branch Office Development department. She has great dedication to detail and a strong desire to help make the advisor’s transition process as smooth and painless as possible.
Jessica feels that Securities America is one of the premiere broker/dealers because our employees are so highly trained, “I think that if you choose Securities America you will truly see that we take pride in providing knowledgeable, personal service with a ‘home town’ feeling.” In her spare time, Jessica and her young daughter like to spend time shopping and cheering on her husband at the local dirt race track.
